At the very heart of the Costa del Sol, in the province of Malaga and close to famous, jet set town of Marbella, you can find El Rincon de la Ermita or Hermitage’s Corner.
The name of this charming and cosy apartment has been chosen because of the nearby Ermita or small chapel that you can find on top of the hill, overlooking the whole coastline. The apartment is a corner apartment with terrace surrounding two sides of it and all door windows giving access to the terrace and, voila …. you have a name
The apartment has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a terrace, fully equipped kitchen, garage, community swimming pool, infant garden and swimming pool for children and very lovely views.
The apartment itself is ravishing and light. It is east and south oriented, so it does not accumulate the heat of the afternoon sun. All though there is air-conditioning, it is rarely needed, and you will not find the apartment too hot after coming home from a long day on the beach. Also, you will be able to enjoy dinner outside and sleep well at night, as the apartment is easy to ventilate for obtaining a pleasant temperature.
There is a splendid, panoramic sea view from the terrace and the living room plus the master bedroom. You can see a lot of green and nature and of course the blue, blue, blue sea …. as far to where the sea meets the blue, blue, blue sky. And aren’t those two of the things we are looking for when going on a holiday?
Though the apartment is not far from the coast, only 5 minutes driving from the beach, it has a beautiful and calm surrounding. All the bars and restaurants, supermarkets can be reached very quickly, but they are not so close that the noise will disturb your sleep
With the toll road at 2 minutes, Malaga, Granada, Cordoba, Cadiz and even Sevilla are within easy reach. Visiting at least one of this towns is highly recommended as you can find here the typical delightful mixture of Morish and Spanish culture that makes Andalucia so unique. Have you been too enthusiastic when seeing the beach and you fell asleep on the beach? Got a sunburn ? Give your skin a break …. Do not hesitate to go on a day trip and explore one of these charming towns, their historical buildings, their small streets, full of lovely shops, their bars and restaurants giving you the best of the Spanish gastronomy and the famous Spanish tapas.
Malaga airport is only 30 minutes away, Fuengirola and Marbella both 10 minutes.
The Costa del Sol is also known as the Golf Costa so that you will find several Golf courses nearby. Also tennis courts and also the Hippodrome of Fuengirola for those people who love the Andalucian horses.
For people that love to stroll around a Marina, the famous, jet set marina Puerto Banus is only 20 km away. But Cabo Pino, with his small but charming Marina, is only 5 minutes drive. There are plenty of ‘chiringuitos’ or beach bars where you can savour the freshly grilled sardines. The natural reserve of Las Dunas with his naturist beach is just on the other side.
If you want to have a spectacular walk going to the beach, you can start from the Ermita, over the mountains, passing the golf course, then you can reach the beach in about an hour. It is a nice walk, giving spectacular views of the surroundings. Make sure someone can drive you back as going uphill is far more challenging.
Do you want sea, mountains, beaches, marina´s, restaurants, quietness, spacious, panoramic views? Or do you prefer cities and cultural-historical monuments museums? Or maybe you prefer to relax, get a tan at the swimming pool, go to the beach, visit some shops in Malaga or Marbella, have some sight-seeing sauced with a lot of Andalucian sunshine, pleasant temperatures, white houses, palm trees, colourful flowers? You sure can find it all here.
